How to get motivated

As one writer said in his novel, "If you can write no poems, don't write." This beautiful phrase applies to making art as well. If you can live without making drawings and paintings, you don't have to do it. That is why if some artist doesn't want to create or cannot create works of art for some reason, the world around won't miss such uncreated works.

I don't know if this explanation is motivational, but we can see how other great artists have dealt with such a problem. For example, Salvador Dali had many difficult moments in his creative life. What was driving him? How did he find motivation? At one point, he became fascinated by the art of Dutch Old Masters. As far as I remember the story, he decided to paint as well as they did. He locked himself in a room and started painting a bread in a basket. After one month of struggle, he was disillusioned with his results. Nevertheless, he did not lose his motivation for art. He just continued searching for new forms of visual expression and new styles.

That is why hard-work is much more important than a talent. That is why they say that 5% of talent and 95% of work make a great artist. Above all, I wish you to be driven by your hard work; talent will come.
