How to Draw a perfect Square in Perspective using Vladimir London method

In this video, Vladimir London will explain the know-how of drawing a perfect horizontal square in perspective. Let's begin with two vanishing lines. They will converge into one vanishing point somewhere on the horizon beyond the drawing area. The horizontal axis that spans between these two lines is divided in half. The blue line is used to check this proportion. The axis in perspective follows the vanishing angle. Another axis points into the second vanishing point. Two green dots are important landmarks. These are the points where a perfect ellipse touches two vanishing lines. Two more green dots are used to draw two remaining vanishing lines. To check if this geometry is correct, we can use two diagonals of the square, which should cross exactly in the middle of the oval, which is a circle inscribed into this square.
Now, let's make another drawing using the unique method developed by Vladimir London. I begin with two vanishing lines, pointing to the same vanishing point beyond the drawing area. The horizontal line is used to divide the depth in half. It is split in half. The vanishing line crosses the middle line in a point marked in green. This point is where a perfect ellipse touches the vanishing line. On the opposite side, there is another green point, which is used for drawing the remaining vanishing line. Two diagonals of that square have to cross in the middle of the oval, which is a circle in perspective, inscribed into that square. Through this center goes one more line in perspective that crosses two sides of a perfect square in the middle of both sides. A perfect square is needed to draw a perfect cube in perspective. A cube can be used to draw so many other things you see around you.
