How to draw portraits in the three-quarters view
When drawing portraits in the three-quarters view, it is better to use the parallel perspective instead of two-point perspective. In parallel perspective, such horizontal lines as the line of eyebrows, eyes, base of a nose, mouth and chin will remain parallel to each other rather than converge into one vanishing point. Such a perspective looks more natural than a two-point perspective because two-point implies that a viewer is too close to the model.
