How to get good portrait drawing skills
To get good portrait drawing skills, you have to make hundreds of portrait sketches. After several hundreds of portraits, you will find that some poses are easier to draw than others. You may even get used to some favorite pose. For example, I like drawing portraits in the three-quarters view when the head is turned to the left.
