Here's what Eiman says:

Hi everyone, my name is Eiman, and I'm a full-time artist. Drawing and painting—especially in the realistic style—are at the heart of what I do. And like many artists who's been in this practice since long time, I've always wanted to refresh my skills, push my limits, and return to the core foundations of drawing I was searching for a way to learn constructive drawing — not just to replicate what I see, but to truly understand what I'm drawing. That's when I discovered the Life Drawing Academy. I explored their website, watched their videos, and was genuinely impressed. The idea of learning classical drawing techniques—like those taught in Russia or Italy—from the comfort of my own studio inspired me to reach out and connect with the academy staff via email. Their team responded promptly to all my questions about the course content, and that kind of support right from the start made a big difference. Once I enrolled, my expectations weren't just met—they were exceeded. I immediately felt as though I had stepped into the studio of a traditional art academy. The course opened up so many possibilities for drawing based on knowledge—not just observation. I began to truly understand the structure behind what it means to drawing, like a master. I explored essential concepts—like shapes and proportions, orientation, balance, and harmony. These weren't just abstract ideas—they became tools I could apply immediately into my work. I had taken a few drawing courses in the past, but I realized during the entry test how much I was relying only on drawing what I see. That process was slow, full of mistakes, and lacked structure. The overall look of my drawings was okay, but I knew I needed to brush up my skills. Then I received my customized curriculum—tailored specifically to my level and goals. It felt like having a private mentor by my side. Every assignment came with clear instructions, and the feedback I received from my tutors was so detailed and valuable. Their comments helped me gain a solid understanding of fundamentals like proportion, structure, and perspective—but also more advanced design principles like rhythm and gamut, contrast and tonal values, and visual focus. The assignments weren't easy. I had to invest effort, time, money—and most importantly, clear thinking. I had to shift my mindset from "just practicing" to truly training myself to think like a drawing master. The early tasks, like linear perspective and contour drawing, required extra work. But the tutors helped break complex topics into smaller pieces so I could fully understand them. I learned everything—from how to choose and hold the right pencil, to shading, drawing circles and straight lines, geometric shapes, and applying all of this to real subjects: buildings, still life, landscapes, and figures. We went deep into symmetry, stylization, and how to intentionally create visual harmony through design. It changed how I see and construct every piece I work on. One of my proudest achievements was completing a series of life portrait studies. These exercises helped me regain confidence and dramatically improve both my skill and performance. Drawing landscapes and cityscapes was a pleasant surprise. I never thought they could turn into such elegant works of art—especially once I started applying principles like perspective, stylization and visual focus. To be honest, when I started the course, I didn't take it very seriously. I treated it as a side project. But the more I learned, the more I realized: this is no side job—it's a lifestyle. I began to see everything differently. I started viewing the world from the inside out. Drawing became essential to the way I think, plan, and create. Never start a realistic painting without working on the right drawing. The cost of this course is incredibly modest compared to the amount of work, care, and expertise that went into creating it. With the lifetime membership, I can continue to send in my work, receive feedback from the masters, and access all the learning materials—whenever I want. I highly recommend this course to other artists who want to learn like the Old Masters, but on their own time, from their own place. You'll learn constructive drawing, anatomy, perspective, proportion, rendering—and you'll deepen your skills in orientation, balance, tonal contrast, rhythm, symmetry, and stylization. Even after finishing the course, I'll keep practicing, revisiting the principles I've learned. And I'll continue my relationship with the Academy by consulting the instructors on my future projects. This course didn't just improve my drawing. It gave me the foundation to live the life of an artist. And finally—always keep your pencils sharp.
